I am a born and raised fourth generation Floridian. I grew up and currently reside in western Palm Beach County with my husband, three children and our many beloved 4 legged family members. After many years in the corporate world, in 2006 I felt called to make a major career change into the field of counseling. It was a pivotal and formative decision in my life. I value this precious work as it is a privilege to serve others in their journeys of healing and restoration. 

I hold a Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Regent University and a Master's of Science (MS) in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have earned and maintain membership in the International Psychology Honor Society, Psi Chi. I am a LMHC licensed mental health counselor in the State of Florida, a Master Certified Addiction Professional, MCAP, in the State of Florida, an Internationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, ICADC and also certified through Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, EAGALA, in mental health. In addition, I am a trained EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) therapist. 

I have extensive experience in the field of substance abuse and specialize in codependency, relationships and trauma. 

I have adopted an integrative therapy approach to psychotherapy. I believe there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations and value individual needs and personal circumstances. My approach infuses aspects from Client centered, Solution focused, Cognitive behavioral, Attachment theory, Motivational interviewing, EMDR and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to tailor therapy to the individual client.
